Sharing a love of Books
Sharing a book of any sort with your child builds a bond through the sound of your voice, your undivided attention and the joy of sharing. Book sharing can start as soon as your baby is born or, indeed, even before that! The Book Trust is all about promoting this and ways of enjoying books together with your child. They have an excellent section on their website called “HOMETIME”. It is divided into age groups and is full of videos, games, and other ideas for sharing a love of books.
