Meet our Staff

Sarah Beasley

Scheme Manager & Strategic Safeguarding Lead

Sarah manages the team as well as supporting a small number of families. She works with the trustees to develop and deliver the Strategic Plan. Sarah is passionate about the work of Home-Start Runnymede and Woking and improving the lives of children living locally. She loves developing new ideas and working collaboratively with others in the sector. Sarah takes the lead for Safeguarding in the organisation and overseas all Safeguarding training for staff and volunteers.

Kim Coote

Co-ordinator

Kim is a former Health Visitor and Safeguarding Nurse. She visits families referred to us and works with them to develop a plan of support that suits the individual needs of each family. Kim matches a trained volunteer with each family and reviews support regularly. She has lots of experience supporting new mums and loves visiting new babies! Along with Ian, she is also responsible for training our wonderful team of volunteers. Kim is a Designated Safeguarding Officer.

Ian Kidson

Co-ordinator

Ian is a former Home-Start volunteer and previously worked in Youth Services at SCC. He visits families referred to us and works with them to develop a plan of support that suits the individual needs of each family. Ian matches a trained volunteer with each family and reviews support regularly. Ian is passionate about supporting families and wants to see Dads getting more involved. Along with Kim, he is also responsible for training our wonderful team of volunteers. Ian is a Designated Safeguarding Officer.

Claire Schupbach

Family Support Worker

Claire is a qualified teacher and former Special Educational Needs Coordinator. She works directly with families for up to 8 weeks. She uses the principles of the Parenting Puzzle to support families with routines, boundaries and positive parenting. Claire is great fun and families love having her support.

Fiona Wootton

Administrator

Fiona supports all that we do at Home-Start Runnymede and Woking. She liaises with our referrers about the support that we are providing to families. Fiona is usually the first contact on the phone or via email and she manages our website and social media.
